Following the turn of unprecedented travel bans and worldwide air travel disruption, and the knock-on effects that we are all facing, this is an update from the team at Outposts Travel Africa.
Right now, our immediate focus is on our clients who are booked on upcoming holidays to Africa helping them amend their travel plans. If you’ve got a safari booked with us, we need your help. We strongly encourage you to postpone, rather than cancel your trip. The survival of our industry is absolutely key for the preservation of our wild places. That remains our focus, and your help in keeping our suppliers doing what they’re doing will be monumental.
We are continually assessing the travel situation. Our advice to you all is to keep up to date with travel advisories from your country.
Here are some key links to send you in the right direction:

US Travel Advisory – https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel.html
European Union Travel Advisory – https://ec.europa.eu/consularprotection/content/travel-advice_en
Many of our suppliers have revised their T&C’s in light of this situation and we are dealing with each booking on a case by case basis.
We’ve faced crisis before and what is clear is that when this has passed, you will need the perfect antidote. A bit of time spent in pursuit of wilderness in Africa will be just the ticket, and all of us at Outposts Travel Africa are very much looking forward to being ready for that day.
We thank you all for your support.
