Ubuntu Camp - Breaking New Ground in Tanzania

October 08 2015

Ubuntu Camp is an intimate, traditional canvas safari camp designed to give you as much of an under-the-skin Serengeti adventure experience as a truly authentic and comfortable one.

The camp will be situated in an ancient river bed, approximately 15 minutes' drive from Kusini Airstrip. Hugging a line of acacia trees, the camp benefits from the shade and stays cool during the day, whilst enjoying sweeping views down the valley towards the short grass plains. The area boasts excellent resident game with easy access to the open plains and the Great Migration between the months of December to March. At the end of the day, the nearby Kusini Kopjes provide the perfect location for well-earned sundowners.

This new location for Ubuntu South will offer our guests a vastly improved migration experience, and will avoid the issues previously encountered during the periods of short rains. The close-knit team of friendly Tanzanians ensure that traditional hospitality, great food and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere remains at the heart of Ubuntu Camp.
