We wanted to share this super editorial feature about a wonderful safari company based in Tanzania called Maasai Wanderings which we wholeheartedly support.
Maasai Wanderings was started by Naseeb “Nas” Mfinanga and his Australian-born wife, Donna, in 2005 and it continues to grow, offering one of the finest circuits on the Serengeti and East Africa.
Their latest camp which opened in February this year is called Ehlane Plains and was the vision of Nas. The completion of the camp, which was built in just four weeks, was bittersweet. Nas never got to see it; he died tragically in an aeroplane crash last November. It was up to Donna and the incredibly supportive management team to bring his vision to life.
