Safari guides enhance African bush experience

August 03 2016

Outposts Travel Africa works with African Bush Camps, a small and independently owned African-based company run by one of Africa's top Safari guides Beks Ndlovu and his wife Sophia. They pride themselves on their extraordinary guides. Each are hand-picked naturalists with exceptional experience, who know the African bush intimately and are trained to deliver the best in guest experiences. When a guide shares his knowledge and passion for wildlife with a guest, it has the potential to transform their safari into an extraordinary occasion.

Mayeso Banda is a learner guide at Somalisa Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. He was identified by respected Professional Guide Nic Polenakis, Ambassador and Head of Guide Training at African Bush Camps, as someone who has the skills to become a dedicated, passionate and remarkable guide.

Gale Horton Gay, the lifestyle editor of The Champion Newspaper (Georgia, North America) agrees with the African Bush Camps ethos towards guiding. Read her most recent article "Safari Guides Enhance the Africa Bush Experience", part one of a two-part series on Adventures in Zimbabwe.
