Our clients began their holiday to South Africa with a 3 night stay in Cape Town. They wanted to incorporate a range of activites during their visit including a trip up Table Mountain, a walking food tour of the city, a Township Tour & a visit to Mzoli's restaurant.
"First, one of the main highlights was our guide, Pam McOnie from Cape Fusion Tours. Hilarious. Her foodie tour of Cape Town was very good. Blackheath Lodge is very comfortable and safe. We didn’t take advantage of the pool due to the season but it’s there. Breakfast was very good."
They were transferred to the winelands staying at the wonderful Bartholomeus Klip and enjoyed several guided winelands tours with Pam incorporating cheese and wine paring, chocolate and beer tasting and a visit to the new Bertus Basson Restaurant at Spice Route.
"There were no negatives. Everything worked as per plan."
"We were lucky to drive through Robertson during the wine festival. Very interesting and meant we had to haul a dozen or so bottles home! Driving in South Africa is easy and not at all to be feared as some might think and I would recommend it to anyone. It was fun to have independence of movement just the two of us."
They drove further along the coast to Plettenberg Bay and enjoyed a 3 night stay at Kurland before driving north to Samara Private Game Reserve in the eastern Cape's Great Karoo for a safari finale at Samara Karoo Lodge!
"The safari you sent us to at the end was indeed different, thank you; walking with cheetah and rhino!"
