Edward Norton in Kenya: a safari camp 'unlike anywhere else’

Campi ya Kanzi is the only safari lodge on a Maasai-owned reserve spanning 283,000 acres of pristine wilderness. Mount Kilimanjaro and Ernest Hemingway’s “Green Hills of Africa” form a stunning backdrop for inspiring and sustainable safari experiences. 

When Edward Norton, the American actor and UN goodwill ambassador for biodiversity, first came to the area on the recommendation of a pilot friend, he said at once that he could see this was “the real deal: a camp that is in the upper, upper, upper sphere of places with real credentials when it comes to working with community and protecting the environment”.

He was so inspired by this Kenyan safari camp that he lent his support to its vision of conservation and community.
