All this before lunch which was long, lingering and, thank goodness, light as we have been eating a lot. The salads were colour themed and I went for yellow. All yellow coloured varieties of fruit and veg with a coconut dressing. The boys watched the rugby and became somewhat hysterical when the television would not work. I think they wished it hadn't when Ireland beat England by 19 to 9.

I had a meeting with Pam McConie, an excellent guide whose services I have used for many years without ever meeting before. She gets such good reports for her knowledge and enthusiasm; returning clients always ask for her personally. We had a friendly glass of white and I came away with a full agenda for tomorrow's activities. I can see what she is so popular. Thank you Pam.

On Sunday evenings their restaurant has a rest and guests are invited to an Italian themed dinner to eat in the old bakery. I recommend it. Informal surroundings but the food was no less delicious. Another lovely day in paradise.
