A new Primate Lodge for an even better safari experience

May 10 2016

Enjoy a stay at the substantially upgraded Primate Safari Lodge Kibale, a retreat in the middle of the wonderful Kibale Forest in Uganda. Only a 5 minute walk to the start of the trek, the lodge is perfectly located and allows you to enjoy a more leisurely start for chimp tracking.

Kibale Forest National Park harbours the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in Africa. No less than thirteen different species live in this tropical forest, including human’s closest relative, the chimpanzee.

Their previous safari tents have been replaced with 9 new luxury cottages. The new design features much larger windows allowing more natural light in and doubling natural airflow, with the idea to bring the outdoors experience indoor. The new rooms are all fitted with lavish décor, charismatic furnishings, and an ensured steady supply of hot water.
