At Kenya’s far Northern Frontier lies one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Turkana is a massive inland sea, the largest desert lake in the world and widely known as the Jade Sea because of its remarkable colour.
This is a rarely visited part of Kenya, as it is remote and wild, but those who make the journey are well rewarded with a memorable experience encompassing so much more than just a safari. Expect geographical beauty, rural homesteads and fishing boats, warm-hearted people, interesting animals and natural discovery.
Outposts Travel Africa has put together an exclusive 12 Day/11 Night Expedition to Lake Turkana in August 2018. We are looking for a few intrepid people to join this small group trip so if you're longing for a remote, wild adventure this summer in Kenya, please get in touch with us as places are limited.
